What You'll Do

Discover the magic of cyanotype, one of the oldest and most accessible photographic printing techniques, where sunlight and chemistry transform simple botanical materials into rich blue prints.

In this hands-on workshop, we’ll work with flowers, leaves, and grasses to create unique botanical artworks.

You'll leave with your own prints, but more importantly, you'll have a new perspective for the natural beauty around you.

Don't be surprised if you're found looking closely at the leaves on a tree or peering into the tall grasses and saying, "Now that would make a great cyanotype!"

What To Bring

In my workshops, everything is provided β€” I'll have cyanotype examples to inspire you and fresh and dried flowers and leaves to create with.

We use heavyweight watercolor paper that I've prepared before you come to the class. Feel free to bring botanicals from your own garden or wanderings.

What You’ll Take Away

  • A relaxed, restorative creative experience in a small group setting
  • Multiple finished cyanotype prints to take home
  • A clear understanding of the basic cyanotype process
  • Inspiration for further exploration (you won't want to stop)
  • Guidance on simple ways to continue cyanotype at home
  • A renewed sense of creativity from working alongside others
  • A conviction that playing with art is fun, fantastic and necessary!

Is This Workshop For You?

This class is designed for beginners and curious creatives of all backgrounds. You don’t need any prior experience with cyanotype or printmaking β€” just an interest in experimenting and enjoying the process.

Please note that my classes are taught in English.
